Vintage Jewelry in a modern world
Vintage Jewelry consists of colors, shapes, integrate designs, and stunning beauty. Rarely do we see this kind of handiwork they crafted back then, but I do believe we try. While styles are very different then they were in the 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's, you cannot deny the craftsmanship of it. Beautifully carved designs that last forever. Often you see very unique colors of stones in this jewelry ranging from diamonds to amethyst. Gold was a much popular color back then, so you will see much more 14k gold instead of the white gold or platinum you see today. Pearls were also a huge vintage piece that will not ever go out of style. Pearls are the essence of femininity and glamour.
Broaches are often tied to vintage jewelry because it's not something people wear much anymore. Women dressed up in skirts and blouses more back then. Today we are often seen in a nice pare of jeans and a fun t-shirt. A broach doesn't exactly fit in to that style. However, a broach is a beautiful addition to the right outfit. They are a larger jewelry piece, usually with a very detailed design.
Fashion continues to run in circles and while no style completely comes back, bits and pieces of them do. Not only do you see vintage hair weaving its way into modern society, so is the jewelry. Vintage jewelry is used to accent a very modern look. For example, you will see a large and integrate flower ring that may have been worn with a nice skirt and blouse in the 50's on a girl wearing jeans and a t-shirt today.
Fashion continues to interweave through time, so you will continue to see vintage jewelry a long time from now.
